Josh Burton currently works in the field of affordable housing and community development with the NC Housing Finance Agency. He has more than 10 years experience partnering with nonprofits and governments to invest in housing, community initiatives, and local businesses. He has managed a variety of state and Federally-funded programs. He holds a master’s degree in Construction Management with a focus on residential construction from East Carolina University, a second master’s degree in Public Administration with a focus in Community Economic Development from the University of Missouri, and a bachelor’s in Business Management from MidAmerica Nazarene University. He enjoys spending as much time as possible with his two brilliant daughters and talented wife. In his free time he coaches girl’s soccer, cooks diverse and flavorful foods, watches his fruit trees grow, jogs around the greenway, plays guitar, and invests in relationships with his community.
